Hi! My name is JK, like Just Kidding, but not really…

Traveling is my ultimate passion in life… It all started when I was 17 years old. I joined a small group from my local high school in Kentucky on a 3-week ambassadorial journey through China! Yes, you read that correctly, CHINA!

We stayed one week in Beijing to sightsee and then traveled to Southern China to the Guangxi Province to a smaller locale called Yangshuo, which happened to be our Sister City. We stayed there for the next two weeks with a host family and embarked on visiting schools, forming relationships with local children/adults/groups and awarded scholarship money for some children to go to school there. We even participated in an art show, participated in a basketball game with some of the local children at one of the schools and we ate lunch with some children at another school. This three-week wanderlust experience lit the fire within me, as they say and that fire is just as bright today as it’s ever been.

Fast forward to today, I am a self taught travel professional who travels the globe for the experiences, food and friendships along the way.
